Purchase tickets, Payment, Cancellation and Refund

How can I purchase tickets? How can I pay?

Tickets can be purchased directly via our website and payment is handled through our secure online payment platform (provided by PayPal), which accepts most major credit cards and Paypal. All data transfers are encrypted and there are several anti-fraud measures in place to ensure that ChillinChilli (or any other parties) cannot access any credit card information or other sensitive data.

Do I have to purchase them in advance? Why do I need to pay in advance?

Please purchase tickets in advance to guarantee space on our tour as we do have strict limits on the numbers of people on a tour. On some occasions when customers book last minute, we may allow you to pay at the start of the tour but in general we require payment in advance.

Can I get a refund or reschedule my tickets?

Tickets cannot be refunded as your space is guaranteed on the tour once purchased. Refund is, therefore, not allowed for no shows, or late arrivals and each tour is scheduled to depart on time. However, reschedule is possible in case your new chosen date is still available (we will need to reconfirm the availability.)

Can I get cancel the tour?

Should you (the client) choose to cancel a booking, Chillin Chilli must be notified by email.
The following cancellation fees apply for
More than 7 days before departure, 10% of your payment
2 to 6 days before departure, loss
of 50% of your payment
From 48 hours before the tour
starts, loss of all payments made.
Turning up late at the starting
point of the tour for whatever reason is considered a late cancellation and
will result in a loss of all payments made.

In case a tour is sold out, can I get on a waiting list?

At this time, we do not provide a waiting list. However, please contact us to let us know what date you are interested in (and do not see any availability). If possible, we can add an additional tour on that day.

What include and What Extra

What are included in my ticket price?

– Fun & informative guided walking tour & Sightseeing while visiting cultural landmarks
– All food and drink tastings (as mentioned on each tour)
– All admission fee (as mentioned on each tour)

*Gratuity is not included in the ticket price but is always greatly appreciated.

Weather

Are walking tours given in bad weather?

Tours are held rain or shine. We also provide ponchos in case of sudden weather changes and you do not have your own umbrella. We only cancel our tour in an unlikely event of extreme bad weather. In that case, we will try our best to reschedule your tour or refund.

Walking

How much walking is involved in a tour?

The tour is approximately 3-4 hours of walking with many stops. We walk at a very leisurely pace. We will also have chances to sit at on tasting locations.

Food

What if I am a vegetarian or have food allergies or dietary restrictions?

Please let us know if you (or anyone in your group) are a vegetarian or have a dietary restriction when you purchase tickets. We will do our best to accommodate your needs.

Children

Are ChillinChilli Tours suitable for children?

Yes, we believe our tours will give them good fun but for better experiences we recommend to do them on private option in order to go at your own pace and adapt accordingly.

Are there discounted tickets for children?

Yes, we offer a special price for children under 12.

Group Size

How many people can attend a tour?

The maximum number of people per tour guide is 12. If one tour is sold out there is a very good chance we will offer another that same day.

Language

Are tours offered only in English?

Yes, we offer tours only in English at this time. Please contact us if you would like to make arrangements for your own interpreter to join the tour.

Private Option

Can I book a private tour?

Of course! We offer packages for private tours. Please visit our private tour page for more details.

Are cameras allowed on the tour?

Certainly. Cameras (and videos) are allowed and encouraged during the tour.

Are there restroom breaks during a tour?

Yes, restrooms are available at every food-tasting and some sightseeing location during the tour.

Can I shop during the tour?

To stay on schedule and continue with the informative tour in a timely manner, we ask that you please wait to shop until after the tour. You can allow time at the end of the tour to return to your favorite stores located in the map provided. Our guide can also help you with directions to them.

Can I bring my cats/dogs with me during a tour?

We regret to inform you that pets are not allowed on the tour.

Does the tour end at the same place that we start?

No, it does not. However, detailed instructions are provided after ticket purchase with starting and ending point locations. Both are very close to BTS (sky train) stations. At the tour, we provide a detailed map with return directions included at the beginning of the tour Also, our tour guide will help explain directions for any questions you may have.
